Kit Names: The name of a kit must end with the suffix 'kit' , with the begining of the name what ever you would like.
Example: Tigerkit
Apprentice Names: The name of a kit must end with the suffix 'paw' , with the beginning the same as your kit name.
Example: Tigerpaw
Warrior Names: The name of a warrior can end in any suffix they would like except for star which is taken on by the leader, paw so they will not be mistaken for an apprentice, and kit so they will not be mistaken for a kit (It happens! lol)
Example: TigerLily
Leader Names: The name of a leader will keep the same root name as they were when they were a warrior except they will take on the suffix of 'star'.
Example: Tigerstar
Loner/Rogue Names: The name of a loner/rogue can be any desired name except they cannot use the name guide of the clan cats unless they were once in a clan.
Tribe Names: The name is usually about nature
Example: Tiger thats runs through grass
Forbidden Names: A cat cannot take on the following root names!:
Wind
Thunder
Shadow
River
Star
Sky
Blood
Also no cat may share the same root as another!!! It will get to confusing and we don't want that!!

In the books the kit-mother names their kit after the first thing they see.
Example: Sunlight that shines through trees.
Yet, since you guys don't really have a kit mother until you name yourself you may chose your name. Just make it similiar to the example. You may also shorten your name.
Example: Sunlight that shines through trees. (Nickname: Sunlight)
Just make sure your name doesn't make it to where you have the same nickname as another cat!!
